Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this park hotel. The location was fantastic with easy access to Lake Windermere, and I appreciated the clean and modern caravan we stayed in. However, I did encounter a few issues such as the internet not working at all, and I found some areas of the accommodation less than clean. A few more essentials would have been nice, but overall, it was still a decent getaway.
The park hotel has a lovely, peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation. The accommodations were generally clean and well-equipped, which made for a comfortable stay. However, some issues with facilities and the surroundings detracted from the experience, especially regarding the unwelcome sewage smell. While I appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack and the friendly staff, I found the pricing a bit steep for what was offered.
Our stay at Newby Bridge Country Caravan Park was delightful, especially in the accessible caravan which was well-equipped for our needs. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, making it a perfect base for exploring the Lake District. The only downside was the mattress, which was not as comfortable as we’d hoped, but overall, it was an enjoyable experience that I would recommend.
We experienced a mix of positives and negatives during our stay. The location was excellent for exploring the local attractions, and the accommodations were clean, but they felt cramped, particularly for our family. We faced several maintenance issues that impacted our comfort, and the kitchen lacked essential equipment. Overall, while we appreciated some aspects, there were definitely areas that require improvement.
We had a lovely time staying at the cabin, which was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The personal touch with the welcome pack made us feel right at home. However, we did experience some issues with the facilities that could be improved. Overall, it’s a great choice for a cozy getaway, especially for families and those traveling with pets.
